Samentha Fernandes was born on 26 August 1990 at Mumbai. She is an actor and a dancer by profession. She made her debut with the show named, Dil Dosti dance aired on Channel V. It was a dance-based show. She played the role of Simmi Malhotra in the show. she also appeared as a special guest on the serial named, Ek hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai in 2011. She gave a special dance performance on the song titled, Bole Chudiyan.
 
She did a show named, Yeh Hai Ashiqui in 2014. She played the character of Sunaina Kapoor. She also appeared on a horror show, Gumrah in 2016 and essayed the role of Sonia Banerjee.
