The Indian Film Actress, Sanchita Padukone majorly performs in the Tamil movies along with the few numbers of Kannada as well as Telugu movies. As a matter of fact, she is from the same village of Deepika Padukone and has been proclaimed that both of them are relatives.
 
In the year 2009, she got a chance to perform in the Kannada movie as Divya named as Ravana. She performed opposite to the Kannada Actor Yogesh which was in turn directed by Yogish Hunsur and produced by Uday K Mehta. In the same year, she has also performed in the Tamil movie Vettaikaaran as Uma. This is the Action based movie directed by Babusivan along with the co-star named as Vijay. As a matter of fact, this movie’s director tends to be a debutant. Most prominently, this movie was also dubbed in the Telugu as well as the Hindi language as Puli Veta and Dangerous Khiladi 3.
 
In the year 2011, she was asked to perform the role of Sandhya in the Tamil movie – Pillaiyar Theru Kadaisi Veedu. This is purely the romantic and comedy based drama directed by Thirumalai Kishore. Her another prominent movie includes Chammak Challo in the role of Anshu. Her other upcoming movies include Chithiram in Tamil language, Manoharam as Anu in the Telugu language, and Satya Harishchandra in the Kannada language whose shooting started in the years 2015 and 2016 respectively.
 
She was rumored as Deepika Padukone's first cousin by various magazines. However, she cleared the air saying that they both have one thing in common and that is their native Padukone which is located near Mangalore.
