Sanghavi Complete Bio & Career

Sanghavi’s actual name is Kavya Ramesh. At the age of 16, she made her film debut through the Tamil film Amravathi in the year 1993. She was cast opposite debutant Ajith Kumar in this film who apparently became a superstar of the Tamil film industry. Her next film Rasigan was also a huge hit and with 2 back 2 back hits, she became an overnight star. She was cast opposite Vijay in this film who also later became a star of the Tamil film industry. 
 
Having already earned a name for herself in the Tamil film industry, she started getting offers from Kannada film industry as well. She made her Kannada film debut through the film Rayara Maga in the year 1994. The same year, she also made her Malayalam film debut through James Joseph’s Galileo. The following year, she made her Telugu film debut as well and thus became some of the few stars who have the privilege of working in all south Indian language films. 
 
She within a short span of time became a superstar of the south Indian film industry working primarily in Tamil and Telugu films. She made her Bollywood debut through the Hindi film Sher-E-Hindustan in the year 1998. The film was a disaster at the box-office and she hardly got noticed. She tried her hands again the Bollywood film Zulm-O-Sitam which released in 1998. She did a cameo role in this film and again went unnoticed. She though kept on appearing in South Indian films and was last seen in the Kannada film Indra which released in 2008. She is finally making a comeback after a gap of 11 years with the Tamil film Kolanji.
