She married Venkata Subbaih (Telugu Actor) on 13-12-1975 but the couple separated in 1976. Later she married second time with Mukesh (Malayalam Actor) on 02-09-1988. The couple is blessed with two sons Thejas Babu and Shravan Mukesh. Actress Viji Chandrasekhar & film producer Parvathamma Rajkumar are her sisters. Her sons were pursuing their education at UAE and New Zealand. The couple filed a divorce case together but she took it back in 2011. They got separated afterwards and officially divorced. She is staying with Shravan in UAE.
