Sharat Katariya, an Indian writer, a director known for movies like Fan(2016), Dum LagaKeHaisha(2011). He started his career while working under actor, writer, and director Rajat Kapoor as an assistant director and his career as a writer begun with Film Raghu Romeo. He has also assisted director Arindam Chaudhari who is also an Indian Autor and director of IIPM for the movie RokSako to Roklo.

He has made his debut as a director with film 10 m Love (2010) which was based on William Shakespeare's play 'A Midsummer Night's Dream.

He has likewise worked with Vishesh Film, Kunal Vijaykar on his directorial wander, Fruit & Nut and DevenKhote. His work on the film That's What My Dad Used to Say was appeared in the Ethno film and Berlin Film celebrations. He has also taken a shot at a short film, Long Distance Call featuring RanvirShorey. In 2006, Sharat wrote lyrics for Mixed Doubles.

He is a versatile, creative man who as a Dialogue director, directed movie like Hum Tum Shabana in 2011, as a Director, directed many movies like Dum LagaKeHaisha and 10ml Love, etc., and as a writer, wrote content for popular films like Fan, Titli, Bheja Fry, 10ml Love, Phillum City, etc.
