Sneha Kapoor Complete Bio & Career

Sneha Kapoor is renowned as “SalsaSneha”, or “The Indian Salsa Princess”. She is credited for putting the Indian Salsa case on the global map. She created history by becoming the first Indian to win Salsa at International Salsa competitions. She hails from the city of Mumbai and her stint with salsa started in the year 2006 after she joined the prestigious Lourd Vijay’s Dance Studio. After joining the Lourd Vijay’s Studio her career got a shape and she learned various dance forms like Jive, Hop-Hop, Salsa, Bachata, Adagio, Bollywood and Merengue among others. She dances with full passion every time she wears her dancing shoes. 
 
Sneha in her childhood though was into sports and dancing was like just by chance for her. It was Lourd Vijay who discovered her and decided to hone her dancing skills as she has innate talent in dancing. She was paired with veteran dancer Tholor and together they won International Salsa Championships in 2007 and after which they won many others international events together as a partner. On the international salsa circuit, they are on the A list. 
 
Her dancing career though could have ended after a serious road accident which broke her right leg. She though decided not to give up and today she dance with a rod in her right leg. She was denied to put on her dancing shoes for 30 months but her faith in herself didn’t fade a bit and she came back even stronger. After her return, she was seen as a choreographer and celebrity partner in various dance reality shows like Jhalak Dikhlaaja, India’s Got Talent and DID (Dance India Dance). Her choreography was appreciated by stalwart judges of this prestigious reality shows. In an environment where Bollywood dancing attracts the audiences, she has made a niche for herself in Latin dancing with stylish romance, precise skill, and smooth elegance.
