In the year 2010, this beautiful actress won the modeling assignment in the renowned competition Kingfisher Calendar which has the excellent collection of models wearing swimsuits. Later in 2014, Raut played the role of a movie star in the Bollywood movie The Xpose. However, she had a negative opinion about Bollywood industry. The lovely actress, Sonali signed for another movie by the name 99% Useless Fellows. During her career lifetime, Raut had a controversial scene with the Kannada movie director S.K Basheed. 
 
Sonali was one of the Big Boss contestants in season 8. In fact, she was also involved in controversial issues in the reality show Bigg Boss. Unfortunately, she was eliminated after a surprise voting scheme. After few days, she was taken back into the show and again eliminated after 105 days along with her co-contestant Puneet Issar. Recently in 2016, she acted in a movie called Great Grand Masti in which she played the role of a maid. This stunning actress was later found in the song of a popular movie Lipstick Laga Ke. 
 
Sonali Raut has appeared in the famous TV shows such as Comedy Nights with Kapil, Bigg Boss 8, Killerr Karaoke Atka Toh Latkah, and Comedy Classes. In the year 2011, she wascoupled with the famous actor Ranveer Singh for the photo shoot to be put in the men’s magazine known as Maxim. Sonali was awarded as the Kingfisher Calendar Girl of the year 2010.
