Srishty Rode is the daughter of Bollywood renowned cinematographer, Tony Rode. She did not have any support from her family to choose the acting line and even though her father who belongs to the film industry in a long time opposed her decision of making her career in films. In the matter of fact, she did not change her mind about becoming an actress, she used to bear everything so hard and approached many directors and producers. When she was pursuing a degree in college in her first year. In 2007, she went for the auditions organized by the Balaji Telefilms for the TV show Kuchh Is Tara for a supporting role.
She received her first salary of 1 thousand rupees, which was not as much for her survival, but it was more than enough for encouraging her to pursue her dreams of establishing herself in the glamour world. She started approaching the ads agencies for the Tv commercials but her hard work paid her and she got her first Tv commercial of Fair and Lovely (Hindustan Unilever's product). Now the serial producers and casting directors were noticing her for signing her in their storyline of the serials. And in 2010 she appeared in the show "Yeh Ishq Haaye" also she signed another show "Choti Bahu" air on Zee Tv. From 2010 onwards, she kept continuing for acting in the daily soap opera. On Sep 2018 she became the contestant of the Colors popular show "Bigg Boss-12" she entered the house as a celebrity contestant.
