Stana Katic Complete Bio & Career

Stana Katic was raised in a farm and played in the family band from the early age of 5. She met an auto accident and because of that both her legs were severely broken. To meet her medical expenses, she started singing traditional country songs. When she turned into a teen-aged girl, she started singing in nightclubs. One fine day, she made up her mind to relocate to Nashville to further her music career.
 
Her debut album, Three Chords and the Truth was released in 1997. The album was a huge hit and the success followed with her song, "Born to Fly," which was declared Video of the Year at the Country Music Awards in 2001. Her 3rd album Restless was released in 2003 and was followed by her fourth album Real Fine Place in 2005, which was till then her career’s best-selling album.
 
Stana Katic was married to Craig Schelske, who an ambitious politician, in 1993. The couple was blessed with three children: Avery Jack, Olivia Margaret and Audrey Elizabeth. The couple divorced after 14 years of their marriage in 2007.
 
Stana Katic became a spokesperson for NADA (National Eating Disorders Association), and has spoken openly on this subject, as she has personally suffered it. She has done a lot of charity works and also hosted charity event, Fashion for Every Body, which featured a silent auction, a fashion show, and splendid performance by Stana Katic.
