Wardell Stephen Steph Curry II is widely known as Stephen Curry. Born on 14 March 1988 he is a basketball player from America. He received his primary education from Charlotte Christian school. For higher studies, he went to Davidson College. He is known as the greatest shooter in the history of the National Basketball Association. He has also been awarded the title, NBA most valuable player. With the golden state warriors, he has won three NBA championships.
 
He started playing basketball from his college days for the team named, Davidson wildcats. He also won his first MVP award in 2014-2015. He and his teammate, Klay Thompson are often called by their nickname, Splash brothers. He was under the guidance of a coach named, Bob McKillop in his college. In the NCAA tournament, he bagged the title of the most outstanding player. Later on, golden state warriors selected Curry in 2009. During 2009-2010, he played a total of 80 games. Curry won the skills challenge during all-star weekend in 2011. He signed a contract with the warriors for a 4-year term. The contract was worth $44 Million. He played against Memphis Grizzlies on 7 December. He broke the record when played against Houston Rockets.
 
In 2017, he signed a 5-year term contract extension with the warriors. He received several injuries amidst the competitions. He helped the USA to win the silver medal. He was regarded as the NBA’s most effective defenders. He is widely known for his playmaking abilities.
