Setty is well known for his comedy and acting skills and very much popular in Telegu and Tamil film industry. He is famous for his voice modulation and expressions, which brought him to success in the movie Industry. He gave up his studies during intermediate due to poor financial condition and started helping his father who had a shop of Rice and oil. Once he read the advertisement related to chances for Newcomers in the film industry, which turned his life as a whole. He called for an audition and this short heighted celebrity didn’t go back then. Prominent  Movie and Screenwriter of South Mr.  Satyanand was the first to recognise his talent and encouraged him to move forward. He got the first chance in Movie JAYAM given by renounced Director/Producer Teja in 2002 after that Setty didn’t turn back as if he proved that if you look on every exit as being an entrance somewhere else. 
 
He got Nandi Award for his remarkable Debut performance in this film. He also played a lead role in a film Andaala Amitabh Bachchan. He is also remembered for this comic role in various movies like Godfather, Happy, 7/G rainbow Colony, Bommana Brothers Chandana Sisters, ready, Naa Adullu, Premanta, Baladur, Endukante Premanta, Ullasamga Utsahamga and many more.
