Surveen Chawla Complete Bio & Career

Surveen Chawla made her acting debut with the television series Kahin To Hoga in the year 2003. She remained with the show till 2007 and her performance in the series was praised. Simultaneously, she also appeared in series like Kasautii Zindagi Kay and Kaajjal, Inadditinto performing, she participated as a contestant in dance reality shows like Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9. She has also hosted the comedy show Comedy Circus Ke Superstars in 2010. She was last seen in the second season of the television series 24 in 2016.
 
In addition to the small screen, she has also lit up the silver screen by performing in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Punjabi, and Hindi films. She made her silver screen debut with the Kannada language film Paramesha Panwala in 2008. Soon, she made her Punjabi film debut with the film Dharti in 2011. She became an instant hit in the Punjabi film industry and after this film; she became a regular in the Punjabi film industry. She won the Best Actress award at PTC Punjabi film awards for her performance in the Punjabi film Disco Singh in 2015.
 
In addition to regional, she has also appeared in some Bollywood films as well. She made her Bollywood debut in 2011 with the film, Hum Tum Shabana. The film went unnoticed and until Parched in 2015 all her films failed at the box office. For her performance in the film parched, she won the Best Actress grand jury prize at the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles in the year 2016.
