Sushant started his career with the very famous Shiamak Davar’s dance classes, he then was selected as the best candidate for the 51st Filmfare Awards. This handsome guy’s first debut, was as a lead role in the Balaji Telefilms, for the series, Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil. He earned an amazing fan following and positive comments for his role. His work in the serial, Pavitra Rishta received wide appreciation and won him the Best Male Actor and Most Popular Actor.
Sushanth joined the Indian Dance Reality Show “Zara Nachke Dikha” and “Jhalak Dikhla Ja” in which he was great competition among the best-qualified dancers around the nation.
However, he kept on providing his best roles to his loyal range of fans for his performance in Kai Po Che, which was based on Chetan Bhagat's novel The 3 Mistakes of My Life. The film proved too critical for him but received great support from his supporters which led to a shocking success in his life. He became a household name after he played “MS Dhoni” in a biopic film of him “MS Dhoni – The Untold Story”. For his performance in the film, Rajput got his first nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Actor. He gave hits in films like Kedarnath and Chichore but still failed to grab attention of filmmakers and went into depression. He was arguably a fine talent and his death was an eye-opener for various film-makers and other struggling actors in the industry. His film Dil Bechara was released after his death in late 2020.
