Tannu Kaur Gill relocated to Chicago, US with her parents when she was very young. She aspired to become an actress one day from the age of 6. She started her career as a model and one fine day she got a movie offer from famous Punjabi film director, Vikram Thokri on her Instagram account. She was surprised and came to India and finally inked for the movie.
Thus, she made her acting debut with the Punjabi sports action drama film titled Rocky Mental in 2017. She played the lead role in this film opposite Punjabi film actor Parmish Verma. She is simultaneously pursuing her degree course in the US. Her aim is to settle down in Punjab and build a career in acting after completion of her degree course.
