 Tasha Smith is a talented Actress& Director. She was raised by a single mother, Monique Smith. Her twin sister Sidra Smith, is an equally popular celebrity. She dropped out of ‘Camden High School’ in her freshman year. She, turned to drugs for a brief period, in 1990. She moved to the West Coast to turn over a new leaf of his life. She started her career with the movie Twin Sitters in 1994. She got popular with her performance in the ‘NBC’ comedy Boston Common. The actoress has brought diverse characters to life with poise and ease. She is a passionate lady who works with style and intensity. She is enthusiastic and versatile.
 
In 1994, She made her debut on the silver screen comedy ‘Twin Sitters.’The lady was cast in a recurring role in ‘NBC’s comedy series ‘Boston Commons in 1996. Smith got a golden chance to work with Tom Arnold ’ which was on air and became so popular. The actoress earned several roles in movies and TV films, such as ‘Chameleon II: Death Match’ (1999), ‘Playas Ball’ (2003), ‘The Whole Ten Yards’ (2004), ‘Miles From Home (2006), ‘ATL’ (2006), and ‘Glass House: The Good Mother’ (2006). In 2007, she appeared in Tyler Perry’s romantic comedy ‘Daddy’s Little Girls,’ in which she appeared as the primary antagonist, ‘Jennifer Jackson. She got a chance to work with Elba and Gabrielle Union with whom she marked the beginning of her association in the movie Tyler Perry’s ‘For Better or Worse.
 
She also acted in Perry’s second romantic comedy, ‘Why Did I Get Married in 2007. Smith was an obvious choice for the movie, ‘Why Did I Get Married Too’  The movie was rephrased into a TV series, where Smith played the role of ‘Angela Williams’. She was part of all the 162 episodes of the series and gained major nominations for her performance.
 
Smith has made guest appearances in a significant number of TV series a Chicago Hope’ (1997), ‘The Corner’ (2000), ‘The Parkers’ (2001), ‘Without a Trace’ (2003), ‘Nip/ Tuck’ (2004), ‘Girlfriends’ (2005), ‘The Game’ (2009), ‘Power’ (2015), ‘Star’ (2016), and ‘Daytime Divas’ (2017) are some of the series that have featured her as a guest star throughout her career.
 
Smith’s ventured into the direction for the first time in 2015. Her dream to direct films became reality with her directorial debut movie. At the 19th annual ‘American Black Film Festival she premiered this movie. She directed a TV film named ‘When Love Kills: The Falicia Blakely Story in 2017. The movie earned great success with its premiere scoring 1.6 million views. It held the record of attaining the maximum premiere views by any ‘TV One’ original movie. Smith directed an episode of ‘Tales,’ a drama anthology on ‘BET.’
 
She has produced the shorts ‘Boxed’ and ‘Tisha Campbell-Martin: Steel Here’ and the TV movie ‘When Love Kills in the same year 2017.
