She was born to Rick Hilton and Kathy Hilton. She has three younger siblings, Barron Hilton, Nicky Hilton Rothschild, and Conrad Hilton. She is a great-granddaughter of hotel baron Conrad Hilton.

 

Paris has lived a glitzy socialite life from a very early age. She made her presence at the exclusive parties and being covered by the tittle-tattle press, Hilton evidently became addicted to acquiring celebrity status. Hilton started an exceptional and self-financed crusade to put herself in the limelight, on television, on screen, and in music.

 

Her crusade paid off and she was offered some modeling work, the designers probably relying on her infamy. Apart from modeling, she gave appearances in TV series, TV commercials, and in the movies. She started initially with petty roles in movies such as  Wonderland, Zoolander, The Cat in the Hat and made guest-star appearances on TV shows such as George Lopez and The O.C., but subsequently gave more significant roles in horror flick House of Wax, the direct-to-DVD Bottoms Up and her own financed TV show, the fish-out-of-water reality series The Simple Life.

 

Hilton then tried to get recognition by becoming a player in the music business. She started it by recording an album and even established her own music label, Heiress Records, in order to release her albums. She is very ambitious and driven to chase her goals on her own, rather than simply relaxing in her family's vast business, as many other socialites usually do. She also remains in news for her lavish lifestyle and short-lived affairs. She has also published a book called Confessions of An Heiress which became New York Times Bestseller book then. She has also been accused of driving under the influence of alcohol and was sentenced to jail for that.

 

Her trademark is that she wears blue colored lenses over her naturally beautiful green eyes and most of her shirts quote the catchphrase "That's Hot".
