Tom Banton Complete Bio & Career

Tom Banton's father Colin Banton was an English cricketer. Hence, he too deciced to become a cricketer at a very young age. He relocated to Bromsgrove where along with studies, he continued to play cricket as well. For further studies, he enrolled at the Kings college in Taunton where he played multiple sports. He also represented England at the U-17 level. It was his house master former cricketer Phil Lewis who asked him to concentrate only on cricket as his skills were good enough to play the sport of cricket.
 
He started playing domestic cricket for England in 2017. A prolific run maker and with excellent wicket keeping skills, he became a star at Somerset. His lightning quick wicketkeeping skills and some unorthodox yet effective batting style got noticed by the national selectors during 2019 T-20 blast competetion. Finally when few senior players opted for a break he got the opportunity and was drafted in England squad when they toured New Zealand in November 2019. He is already in line to become one of England's next superstar.
