Usha Nadkarni was born on 13 Sept 1946. She is an actress by profession. She rose to fame her role in the popular serial on ZEE TV named, Pavitra Rishta. She played the role of Savita Damodar Deshmukh in the serial. She started her career in 1999 with the serial named, Rishtey. In 2006, she did a serial, Thodi si Zameen Thoda Sa Aasmaan. She performed the role of Girja in the serial. After the completion of the serial, she was seen in serial, Virudh portraying The role of Nani. Next, she featured on Sony TV’s serial Madhubala – Ek Ish Ek Junoon and essayed the role of Mrs. Dixit. She was also seen in serials. Mrs. Pammi Pyarelal in 2013.
 
Besides this, she did Marathi serials as well like she did Khulta Kali Khulena in 2016. She also participated in the show, Bigg Boss Marathi in 2018 which was aired on Colors Marathi. She appeared as a guest on the show, Khatra Khatra Khatra hosted by Rohit Shetty. Besides television, she did numerous films too both in Bollywood and Marathi industry. She made her debut with her Marathi film named, Sinhasan in 1979. In 1987, she did a film named, Sadak Chhap. In Bollywood, she did films like Shatranj, Gundaraj, Krishna cottage, and Vaastav. In 2005, she played the role of Gaurakka in the movie, Pak Pak Pakaak. Her Marathi films include Yellow, Deool, Slambook, and Sakhi. She rose to fame with the film named, Rustom in 2016.
