Usher’s association with music started when he was just six years old by singing in church choir. His first album was released in 1994 when he was just 15 years old. Usher in a very short time became a sensation for his broad vocal range, polished vocals, chic style, sensual ballads and sexy dance moves. 
 
It has been more than 20 years since he started his professional music career and has been among the most dominant players in the music industry. He became famous for subsuming sexual undertones in his tracks. Among his initial albums, he enjoyed a great success on his album 8701. He won two Grammy awards for this album’s songs like "U Don't Have to Call" and "U Remind Me". He was at the peak of his career in the early 2000s and was also named the "Artist of the Year" in 2004. He in his decorated career has collaborated with numerous other noted artists like Ludacris, Diddy, Justin Bieber and Rico Love among many others. He to date has won 5 Grammy Awards and numerous other awards. His latest album Hard II Love was released on September 16, 2016, and received generally positive reviews from contemporary music critics. It debuted at number 5 on the US Billboard 200 and sold 28,000 copies in the United States in its first week. It also became his seventh consecutive top ten album in the United States. The lead single, "No Limit" featuring rapper Young Thug initially was serviced to Urban radio on June 9, and eventually peaked at number 32 on the Billboard Hot 100, and number 9 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs.
 
In addition to enjoying a highly successful music career, he has also tried his hands at acting. His initial noted role was in the film The Faculty in the year 1998. After which, he made guest appearances on numerous television shows. He played the title role in noted Broadway play tilted Chicago in the year 2006. Besides that, he has also served as a judge of the famous NBC singing competition titled The Voice in 2012. 
 
He also has some business interests from launching his own men’s cologne line to having a stake in the Cleveland Cavaliers basketball team and owning a record label titled US Records.
