V.V Vinayak was born on 9 October 1974. By profession, he is a director and screenwriter. He is widely known for his performance in Telugu cinema. He redefined comedy movies in Telugu cinema. He made his debut with the film named, Aadi in 2002. The film turned out to be a huge success.
 
Other films directed by him include Dil and Tagore in 2003. Both films were a huge success at the box office. In 2004, he directed the film named, Samba. His next releases were Bunny in 2005 and Lakshmi in 2006. Next, he directed a movie titled, Yogi in 2007. In 2008, he went on to direct a movie titled Krishna. Other films which he directed include Adhura in 2010, Badrinath in 2011, Naayak in 2013, and Alludu Seenu in 2014. He has primarily directed films in the Telugu Film industry. In 2015, he directed the film titled, Akhil: The Power of Jua. The movie titled, Khaidi No. 150 was also directed by him. This movie was released in 2017. In 2018, he directed a movie named, Intelligent.
 
He has also received the award for the best director for his film titled, Aadi in 2002. He also received Santhoshan best Commercial director award for his film named, Krishna in 2008.
