Venu Madhav relocated to Hyderabad to try his luck in films. He started off with a minor role in the Telugu film Sampradayam in the year 1996. He came to his own after his performance in Suresh Krishna's Master. Since then, he never looked back and starred in over 100 Telugu films before his death. He also played lead roles in films such as Hungama, Premabhishekam, and Bhookailas. In addition to films, he had also served as an anchor at various television shows and events. He was suffering from Kidney and Liver related problems from a long time and hence was very critical in September 2019. On 25-09-2019, he passed away.
