Yoon started training in "Taekwondo" when she was just five years old, and she is a black belt holder (third-degree).In her earlier days, she studied from ( Young-shin Girls High School).In February 2012 she did her graduation from ( Korea Arts High School). Her inclination towards music she did not plan to get enrolled in University for further studies.
Bomi started her career with Apink on "M! Countdown of Mnet" performing her songs that had been incorporated in their debut EP Seven Springs of Apink. Yoon, accompanying with her partner Chorong, got a short ( cameo) role in a play (Reply 1997) in the year 2012, in this drama she played the character of "Moon Jong-Mi," the departed mother of "Yoon Yoon Jae." In September 2015, It had been aired on the ten-episode web drama of KBS 'Love Profiler K as Yuna. The drama aired on Naver. Yoon was MC at the Weekly Idol variety show from July 17, 2013, to July 8, 2015. She seemed to be in the cast of the variety show The Human Condition in 2014 and has made an appearance in MBC's Real Men in a women's special in early 2015.
Yoon, also with her partner Namjoo, performed on October 20 in Two Yoo Project Sugar Man as Apink BnN. In the last episode of Weekly Idol in 2015, turns into the fourth guest as MC after the hiatus of MC Jeong Hyeong Don. Yoon and his fellow 'Namjoo' turned out to be the Shikshin Road new 'MCs.' Yoon joined "We Got Married" 4th season together with actor Choi Tae Joon, who enacted as her "virtual husband" in the show.
In 2015, Yoon starred in the song "(I Know, I Know)" it was David Oh's first releasing song. Yoon released her duet song "entitled" Lovely "for the show "Some Guys, Some Girls" on June 16, with Im Seulong.On September 24, 2015, she appeared in a digital single of "Yoon Hyun Sang" -(Let's Eat Together) as well as also appeared in the "music -video".
