Zeba Bakhtiar Complete Bio & Career
Zeba Bakhtiar is a Pakistani actress as well as television director who made her Tv debut from the television play Anarkali in 1988. Afterwards, she moved to Bollywood to make her luck in Hindi films. Her first break in Hindi films was given by Randhir Kapoor who was making the film Henna along with his brother Rishi Kapoor as a male lead of the film. Despite that, he was searching for a fresh face that will play the character of Henna in the film. That was her first Bollywood film.
In the subsequent time, she was cast in many Bollywood films such as Mohabbat Ki Arzoo, Jai Vikraanta and Stuntman all these films were failed at the box office and declared as the unsuccessful films. In 1995, she appeared in the movie Sargam. For that film, she won the Nigar Awards for Best Actress.
After not attaining the success and looking hard to establish herself in Bollywood, she decided to return to Pakistan. From where she started her journey once again from the Pakistani cinema and in 1996, she was fortunate to get the major three projects in Lollywood. And she appeared as an actress in 1996, released films such as Muqadama, Chief Sahib and Qaid. In 2001, she directed as well as acted in the film Babu, that film was flop badly. Her some of the notable work in the Pakistani plays such as Tansen, Laag, Muqaddas, Samjhauta Express, Be Imaan, Maa Aur Mamta, and Pehli See Mohabbat. She married to Pakistan as well as Bollywood renowned singer Adnan Sami, but their marriage could not last for a long time and they got divorced in 1997. Off late she has played mother's role in various Pakistani films. She was last seen in Pakistani film Bin Roye in which, she played the role of Saba's mother.
