Navya Nair was born on 14-10-1985 in Muthukulam, Alappuzha in the state of Kerala, India. She is an Indian Film Actress, Dancer, Television Presenter, and Television Personality who is known for her work in Malayalam, Kannada & Tamil cinema.

Navya Nair did her schooling from Bethany Balikamadom High School in Nangiarkulangara, and later she moved to MSM Higher Secondary School, where her mother served as a teacher. In 2001, when she was in school, she received the offer for her first debut role in the film "Ishtam". She had a successful pairing with the actor Dileep with whom she acted in some hit films such as Kunjikoonan, Pandippada, Gramaphone, Pattanathil Sundar, and Mazhathullikkilukkam.
In the next following year, she starred in the Malayalam film Nandanam in 2002, and she impressed the audience as well as Malayalam directors and produced by her natural acting and screen presentation. She rose to fame from that film, and she even won the Kerala State Film Award and the most prestigious actress. Apart from Dileep, she also has a great pair with some other superstars including Suresh Gopi, Jayaram, Prithviraj, Mohanlal, Jayasurya, and Mammootty. In 2005, she became the winner of the state award for the films Saira and Kanne Madanguka. Saira became the fourth film in the history of Malayalam cinema and was screened at the Cannes 2007 film festival.
In 2007, she made her Kannada debut through the film "Gaja". She took a break from the films after marriage. But she could not get her away from the film for a long time, and she again came back in 2012 from the Malayalam film Scene Onnu Nammude Veedu. In the following year, she got an opportunity to become the judge of the dance reality show "Dance Dance" which was aired on Asianet. Later, she was seen in several television shows as a Judge, Guest, or Host.
