Prajakta Shukre Complete Bio & Career

Prajakta Shukre initiated her to take music as a career and she obliged by becoming a renowned playback singer of Bollywood. From the tender age of four, she started participating in various singing competitions. While she was in 12th standard, she decided to participate in the singing based reality shows Indian Idol. Though she couldn’t win it, but she rose to prominence after advancing till top five. She was the only female contestant to reach top five in her season. She finished 4th in her season.
 
After the show got over, she started getting various singing offers. She was signed by Sony BMG Laber and with composer Leslie Lewis, she released her debut solo Album. She along with the winner of the Indian Idol season 1, Abhijeet Sawant has performed on various stage shows. She recently decided to go digital way and will soon be launching her own youtube channel and will be uploading her songs on her own youtube channel.
 
She has also sung in some Bollywood films like Tees Maar Khan, Shaadi No. 1, and Jaaneman. In 2010, she along with Abhijeet Sawant were booked for rash driving, she banged her car at two kids in Santacruz, Mumbai.
