Alanis Nadine Morissette, a multi talented Canadian-American who is a record producer, multi-instrumentalist, rock singer and song writer. She had a Catholic upbringing and also attended Holy Family Catholic School. She spent 3 years of her childhood in Germany due to her parents who were in the military.  Later she went to Immaculata High School before completing her high school and completed her higher studies in Glebe Collegiate Institute, Ottawa. When she was in elementary school she did a television show named “YOU CAN’T DO THAT ON TELEVISION”.
 
Her first demo was recorded named “FATE STAY WITH ME” in Toronto at Marigold Studios. MCA Records Canada released her debut album in 1991 named “ALANIS” in Canada. She became popular with this album as she co-wrote the lyrics of all the songs such as “Walk Away” and “Feel Your Love”. She released her second album in 1992 named “NOW IS THE TIME”.  A turning point came in Alanis’s life after JAGGED LITTLE PILL, this was her first international album released after coming to Toronto from Ottawa.
 
Alanis Morissette became very popular after the success of “Hand in My Pocket”, “Ironic” and “Head Over Feet”. That album became a bestseller in UK and Australia. She did many plays and movies too such as Sex And The City, Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back,  Just Friends, De-Lovely and much more. She did many tours like One Tour, Junkie Tour, All I Really Want Tour, Can’t Not Tour, Diamond Wink Tour, and many others.
