Amanjot Kaur was born on 25-08-2000 in Mohali in the state of Punjab, India. She is an Indian Cricket Player who plays for India as a right-handed all-rounder. She also plays for the Punjab Women's Cricket Team in domestic cricket.

She was born into a Punjabi Sikh family in Mohali. She did her school studies at A.P.J. Public School and Government Senior Secondary School in Mohali. She started playing cricket at the age of 7 in her colony with boys/girls. At the age of 15, she started her academic training and joined coach Nagesh Gupta. She completed her Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Guru Gobind Singh College for Women in Chandigarh.
 
She made her cricket debut in 2017-18 in domestic cricket by playing for the Punjab Women's U-19 cricket team. In 2019-20, she played for Chandigarh. In 2022-23, she again joined the Punjab Women's cricket team. In 2023, she was purchased by Mumbai Indians in the WPL auctions for INR 50 Lakh.
 
She made her T20I debut on 19-01-2023 against South Africa. She made 41 runs off 30 balls and won the player of the match award. She became the 3rd Indian woman to win the award in T20I debut after Smriti Mandhana & Harmanpreet Kaur. She made her ODI debut on 16-07-2023 against Bangladesh and claimed 4 wickets. She was named in India's Squad for the 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup and India's 2023 Asian Games squad.
