Anu Sithara is a well known Malayalam actress and a trained dancer. She was interested in dancing from her childhood and has performed in many stage-shows till date. She is good at various dance forms and was seen performing those on stage at different levels. She learned from Kerala kalamandalam. The place gave her an opportunity to work with and learn different dance forms from the accomplished artists of that time.
She had participated in many schools and college competition and also been part of various cultural shows representing the country at the events in foreign countries. She started a dance school titled ‘Navarasa’ at her home so that she can pass her knowledge to those who really in love with those dance forms. When she is not in the town, her mother takes care of her dance school administration work. She was seen on a few reality shows and is famous among the audience on television. Film director spotted her at TV show performance and recommended her to the director Suresh Achoos who gave her first break. She made her debut in acting in his movie ‘Pottas Bomb’ in 2013 as ‘Aswathy’.She has worked in both Malayalam and Tamil movies. She was later seen in ‘Oru Indian Pranayakadha’ in 2013. Anarkali, Happy Wedding, Campus Diary, Marupadi, Fukri, Ramante Eden Thottam, Achayans, Sarvopari Palakkaran, Navel The Jewel, Aana Alaralodalaral are her movies.
She made debut in Tamil movie industry with movie ‘Veri’ in 2015. She was seen as a judge in Indian dance reality series ‘ D 4 Dance ‘ aired on Mazhavil Manorama along with Priyamani, Neerav Bavlecha, Prasanna Sujith and Mamta Mohandas in 2017. Captain, Bilathi Kadha, Kozhi Thankachan, and Podhu Nalan Karudhi released in 2018 and all of them exceedingly well at the box-office. She was last seen in romantic Malayalam film Neeyum Njanum.
