B Praak born to Hindu family in Chandigarh, India. He did his schooling and college studies at Chandigarh. As he belongs to a music family therefore, he has keen interest in music since his childhood. He often sang in competitions and farewell parties. After completing studies, he started producing, directing and composition of music. He began directing music with the company "Prakky B". He directed many songs but did not get good response.
In 2012, Pratik Bachan met with famous lyricist "Jaani" and initiated music collaboration with him. Here, his name was changed to "B Prank". They composed their first song "Soch" in 2013, sung by the famous Punjabi singer "Haardy Sandhu". The song was superhit on television and other social media platforms.
