Akshay Kumar was born on September 9, 1967, in Amritsar in the state of Punjab, India. He is a well-known Film Actor in the Indian cinema. His original name is Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia. Along with acting, he is also a Martial Artist, Film Producer, and TV Host.

Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia is widely known as Akshay Kumar. He was born on 9 September 1967. He is an actor, producer, and television artist. He gained his education from Guru Nanak Khalsa College of arts, science, and commerce. He also practiced martial arts and underwent training for the same. Then he was recommended to pursue a career in modeling and he did it. Initially, he served as the background dancer in numerous films. Eventually, he was signed for the movie, Deedar produced by Pramod Chakravarthy.
His first movie in the lead role was in 1991 titled, Saugandh along with Raakhee and Shantipriya. His next movie was Khiladi by Abbas Mustan which was a big hit. A movie named, Mohra in which he appeared along with Raveena Tandon was the biggest opener of the year. His movie, Khiladiyon ka Khiladi was also successful. He did a supporting role in a film named, Dil Toh Pagal hai in 1997. In 2000, he did a comedy film named, Hera Pheri which proved to be a turning point in his career. He appeared along with Shilpa Shetty and Sunil Shetty in a romantic Drama film named, Dhadkan. He is widely known in the industry for performing daring stunts in his movies.
