Bal Dhuri is a famous Marathi theatre actor who is best remembered for playing the role of Dasratha in the famous epic series Ramayana. He started off his career with Marathi film Devachiye Dwaari in the decade of the 1970s. Post that, he became a regualr feature in Marathi film industry. He came to limelight after portraying the role of King Dasratha in Ramanand Sagar's series Ramayana. Apart from Marathi films, he has also tried his hands in Hindi films such as Eeshwar, and Tere Mere Sapne among others. One of his films which needs a special mention is Marathi film apun Chapun. He has not been seen since a decade and his last film was Sadarakshanaay which was released in the year 2011.
