Rick May was born and raised in Seattle. After completion of his education, he joined the American defense forces and was stationed in Tokyo, Japan. The he co-ordinated with the United Service Organizations and after spending a decent amount of time in Japan, he returned back to Seattle. After returning, he served as the director of the Renton Civic Theatre and Civic Light Opera. He also acted in many of the Renton productions plays and portrayed some of the most prolific personalities such as Benjamin Franklin, Theodore Roosevelt. and King Henry II among others. In addition to acting, he also did voice over roles in so0me of the most famous video games such as Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, and Team Fortress 2 among others.
