Baldev Khosa, an amazing Indian actor who later made his foray into politics. He is a very famous face of our old Indian cinema. He is renowned as part of some famous Bollywood movies like Thokar (1974), Badnaam (1975), Naiyaa (1979), Putt Jattan De (1981), Wangaar (1981) and much more. He served his term as an MLA in Maharashtra assembly thrice in his political career. He represented Indian National Congress.
He first elected from the Versova constituency of Mumbai in Maharashtra. He was a member of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly since 1999 but lost his seat in 2004. The other members of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly believed that he should be replaced with a younger generation.
He gave his valuable contribution to Indian Cinema with Sansaar, Udeekan and Namaskar. He retired from politics in 2004 after he lost his seat in Maharashtra Legislative Assembly.
