She was born to Raymond Pillai and Dhurreshwar Dhanrajgir. First, she was married Michael Vaz in 1984 and divorced in 1994. On 14-02-1998, she married second-time well-known Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt. The couple starts living separately after few years. After 10 years, the marriage ended with divorce in 2008. In 2005, she was in a live-in-relationship with famous Tennis player Leander Paes and blessed with a daughter named Aiyana Paes. Her relationships have been a big affair in the entertainment industry and are one of the most talked-about in the town.
