Bichu Thirumala Complete Bio & Career
Bichu Thirumala was born in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. He got primary and secondary education at the local school in Thiruvananthapuram. As his family already belongs to Malayalam cinema thus, he also wanted to become a good screenwriter and director since his childhood. Under the positive influence of his family, he started writing poetry, plays, scripts for movies.
Furthermore, he had made debut in 1972 with the malayalam movie "Bhaja Govindam". The director of the film was Mr. CRK Nair and the music of the film was composed by Jaya Vijaya. After the releasion of film, Bichu came in line light in Malayalam film industry as a songwriter and renowned lyricist. The renowned personality also worked with several famous directors of the Kerela cinema such as A. T. Ummer, Shyam, Ilaiyaraaja, G. Devarajan, and Raveendran. In 1970s, he also worked as a team member with A. T. Ummer and created numerous tunes with his mellifluous voice.
Additionally, Mr. Thirumala wrote many songs for AR Rahman who is count as a legendary singer of hindi music industry. After releasing his first song "Brahma Muhoorthathil" he known as "Lalitha ganam". He became famous songwriter in Malayalam music industry.

Bichu Thirumala was suffering from breathing problems and was admitted to S. K. Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. In the hospital, he received a heart attack on 26-11-2021 around 03:15 AM and he died at the age of 80.
