Colby Ray Covington was born on 22 February 1988. He is a martial artist and a wrestler. He was a senior wrestler at Thurston High School and won the State Championship. When he was at Arizona State University, he did not score well. To improve his scores, he went to become a student of Lowa Central Community College. He won the title of a true Freshman in his college. He won the title of a true freshman in his college. Soon he got arrested by the police in 2007. He was suspended from the team, Hawkeyes owing to his arrest. For a fresh start of his career again, he enrolled himself in Oregon state University on the advice of the coach, Jim Zalesky.
 
Covington got selected by the NCAA tournament at the university. The tournament earned him all American honors. Covington then commenced his career in Mixed martial arts. He made his debut in 2014 against Anying Wang. He also fought against Wagner Silva. Later on, in 2015, he stood against Warney Alves but lost the fight. He fought against several persons during his career like Max Griffin. Bryan Barberena, Dong Hyun Kim, Demian Maia, and the list go on. In 2018, he faced Rafael dos Anjos and won the fight. A record was set by him in 2019 for the most strikes ever done. His fight against Kamaru Usman bagged him the title of the fight of the night. His next fight is expected with Tryon Woodley on 19 September 2020. He regards himself as the supervillain. By nature, he is outspoken. He expressed his intention to Visit Donald Trump at the White House.
