Deepak Hooda was born on 19-04-1995 in Rohtak in the state of Haryana, India. He is an Indian Cricket Player who plays as a all-rounder for the Indian National Cricket Team, Rajasthan Cricket Team, and IPL Teams.

He has been nicknamed as "Hurricane" as he is capable of changing in a matter of few balls or overs. He rose to prominence during the 2019 U-19 World Cup. Soon he made his first-class debut playing for Baroda and scored a ton on his first-class debut. He was then roped in by Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2015 player auction and showed his mettle with some brutal hitting. He kept scoring runs at the domestic level and in the 2016 IPL player auction, he was roped in by IPL franchise Sun Risers Hyderabad for a whopping 4.2 crores and till now is playing for the same franchise.
in addition to batting, he can also roll his arm over and is an absolute live wire in the field. He was also picked in the Indian side that toured Sri Lanka in 2018. He however didn't get any game. He was also made the captain of Baroda and with age on his side and the talent that he possesses, he became the part of the Indian National team.
In Jan 2022, he made his ODI (One Day International) debut against the West Indies. Next month, he made his T20I debut against Sri Lanka. In the same year, he was selected in the 2022 ICC T20 World Cup. He also was brought by the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the IPL auctions for 5.75 crores in 2022.
In 2025, he played for IPL team Chennai Super Kings (CSK) after sold in the IPL auctions.
