Felix Auger-Aliassime grew up in L'Ancienne-Lorette, a suburb of Quebec City. His stint with tennis started at the age of 4. He started playing age group tennis from a very young age and the biggets moment of his life came in 2015 when he won US Open Junior doubles title in 2015. The gollowing year, he won US Open juniors singles title. In 2017, he turned pro and started playing challenger tournaments. In 2016, he won the Open Sopra Steria de Lyon tournament and became the youngest to win an ITF Challenger tournament at the age of 16 after Bernard Tominc won it in 2009. The same year, he also won his second challenger title and broke into top 200. He became the youngest to break into top 200 since Rafael Nadal in 2002. 
 
He was an improved player in 2018 and that reflected in his form in 2019 where he reached the finals of 3 ATP tournaments. In such a young career, he has defeated seasoned players such as Giles Simon, Ernest Gulbis, Nick Kyrgios, Grigor Dimitrov and Stefanos Tsitsipas among others. He reached the finals of ATP Rotterdam where he lost to Gael Monfils. He serves well and plays an attacking style of tennis. If he can keep his aggresion in control, he will be a much improved player in times to come.
