Gavin DeGraw Complete Bio & Career

He started singing and playing piano since he was 8 years old. Gavin enrolled at Ithaca College in upstate New York on a music scholarship but opted to drop out after 1st semester. After which he relocated to Boston and attended Berklee school of music in Massachusetts for two semesters. While his stint there he used to perform in a rock band and also used to sing his solo.
 
From Boston, he relocated to Manhattan in 1998. He first came to limelight with his debut album Chariot in 2003. The album sold over 1 million copies and earned a platinum certificate. The album produced three hit singles the title-track, “Chariot”, “Follow Through,” and “I Don’t Want To Be”. His second Album was self-titled earned him his first top 10 album. His popularity grew with this album and he was now on the lists of a well-known celeb in the country. His single  “Not Over You” from the album Sweeter was certified a double platinum. 
 
Since then he is touring around the world regularly, which includes a sold-out date with legendary Billy Joel. Gavin recently released his 5th album Something Worth Saving in September 2016. 
 
In addition to singing, he is also an Actor and made his acting debut with the television series Real Magic TV. After which he appeared several other TV shows like Late Night with Conan O'Brien, The Sharon Osbourne Show, TRL,  American Dreams, and Rove Live.
 
Along with acting & singing, he also is the co-owner of a bar called "The National Underground", in New York City.
