Despite possessing a degree in Engineering from Russia, the 37-year-old super handsome actor, Tottempudi Gopichand ultimately made his debut in the film industry in the year 2001 with his blockbuster movie TholiValapu. Hailing from a family of filmmakers, it was probably certain that sooner or later, this actor would try his luck in the film industry. He is the son of the director, editor and the multiple Filmfare Award winner, late T Krishna and younger brother of late Premchand, who was also an exceptionally talented director.
A lesser known fact about him is that he completed a course on dialogue modulation for a whole long year before he worked on his very first film. He has worked in over 25 Telegu movies so far, most of which were dubbed in Hindi. He is considered among the few stars who are at the absolute forefront of the Telegu movie industry.
He was awarded the Nandi Award for the best villain for his 2002 release, Jayam.
