Karol G is belongs to Colombian. She achieved primary education at local School in Medellin, Colombia. When she turned into 14 year age, the singer participated in the music competition "The X Factor" After gaining the popularity, Ms. G signed the contract with Diamond Music (Puerto Rico) and Flamingo Records (Colombia) music companies. Her tracks were gained huge admiration and she got recognisation with her new name "Karol G". As the singer initiated her career in early age, thus she did not get much time to learn profound nodes of music. In 2014, Karol decided to join Universal Music Latino and moved to New York.
