Kathir Complete Bio & Career
Kathir is a young Indian actor who works predominantly in Tamil films. He relocated from Erode to Chennai to try his luck in Tamil film industry. He got his first break when noted music composer G. V. Prakash Kumar roped him for his film Madha Yaanai Koottam in the year 2013. He played the role of a village youngster in this film and was highly praised for his performance. He had to wait for 2 years for his next release in Kirumi. He played a completely different role in this film and as per critics, he just nailed it and rightly so as this film performed well at the box-office. He was cast alongside veteran Tamil actors such as R. Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in Tamil action thriller film Vikram Vedha in the year 2017.
In 2019, he played a women's football team coach in the much acclaimed sports drama Tamil film Bigil. The film was one of the highest grosser Tamil film of 2019 and has put him in the list of most sought after Tamil actors at such a young age. After playing football coach, he played the role of a footballer in the sports drama film Jada. He will be next seen in Tamil film Sarbath.
