Krishna Tirath Complete Bio & Career

Krishna Tirath is a veteran politician who is a member of one of the largest political front Bhartiya Janata Party. She was previously a member of the Congress party but joined BJP in early 2015. She has served as a parliamentarian. She won the Lok Sabha elections in2004 and 2009 from Congress party’s ticket. During his second term in parliament, she was offered the post of Women and Child Development in UPA 2 government. She is a well-known figure in Delhi state politics. She previously was an MLA from 1984 to 2004. During Sheila Dikshit regime, she served as a cabinet minister. She handed the Social Welfare and was also made the deputy speaker of the Delhi assembly in 2003. 
 
She rose from ranks and from the state; she became a prominent figure in National politics. She won in 2004 and was able to retain her constituency again in 2009. The biggest highlight of her political career was that during his term as a minister, she spread the idea of women empowerment and also gave a suggestion that a working Husband in Indian society is liable to pay some portion of their income to their wives. She was active in several debates on her idea throughout the country. She left Congress and joined BJP in 2015 and was handed an MLA ticket by the party for the 2015 Delhi state election but she lost out to Hazari Lal Chauhan of AAP party by a great margin.
