Manju Warrier Complete Bio & Career

Manju Warrier is one of the most sought after actresses of Malayalam film industry. She began her acting career at the young age of 17 through Malayalam film Sakshyam in the year 1995. She then starred in the film titled Sallapam alongside actor Dileep and fell in love with him. She continued her merry way as an actress till 1999 and gave hits like Dilliwala Rajakumaran, Sammanam, Daya and Summer in Bethlehem. She acted with almost all the superstars of Malayalam film industry including Mohanlal.
 
She retired from acting post her marriage with actor Dileep. After her marriage turned sour, she decided to make a comeback in films once again. She returned to Silver Screen with the Malayalam film How Old Are You in the year 2014. This movie was a massive hit and paved her way back in films. She has been a part of various hit films after her comeback and shared screen space with Mohanlal after a gap of 20 years with her film titled Lucifer. Thus far, she has worked only in Malayalam films but the year 2019 will mark her debut in Tamil film industry as well with the film titled Asuran. She is cast alongside Tamil superstar Dhanush in this film.
 
In addition to acting, she has also had a successful career in singing as well. She has sung some of the famous Malayalam songs. Her song "Do do do" needs a special mention as it was arguably the biggest hit song of her singing career.
