Master Manjunath was born on 23-12-1976 in Bengaluru in the state of Karnataka, India. He is an Indian Film Actor & Television Actor who is known for his work in Kannada cinema as well as Bollywood, Telugu movies and Hindi/English television series.
Master Manjunath was born and raised in Bangalore. He started acting from the age of 3 and was arguably a superstar as a child actor. In addition to Kannada, he has also appeared in few Hindi and 1 Tamil film. He started off his career with Kannada film Ajith in the year 1982. For the next decade he acted in nearly 70 films. Some of his famous films include Jaggu, Utsav, Kaliyuga, Agneepath, and Swathi Kiranam among others. However it was work in the famous series Malgudi Days that earned a lot of acclaim. His portrayal of Swmai earned him 6 international and 1 national and state award for. He quit acting after his 12th to concentrate in studies. Post graduation, he became a PR Prfoessional and currently has his own PR consultancy company.
He has a brother named Master Anand. He is married to Swarnarekha Nayaker, an athlete (long jumper & sprinter).
