Matty Mullins Complete Bio & Career

Matty Mullins is a musician who makes music in the style of rock. He is of American descent. The musician is the main vocalist of the band Memphis May Fire which is a metalcore band. Mullins grew up in Washington and his family were conservative Christians. When he was younger, he was only able to attend Christian rock band concerts due to his family’s beliefs. He attended Shadle Park High School, and he married Brittany Mullins when he was eighteen.
 
The musician played in different music groups that were local in his city of Spokane, Washington. The solo album of his was released in the year 2014. The album was number 66 on the Billboard 200 when it debuted. In the year 2008, he had an open audition to join the band Memphis May Fire. He writes most of the songs for the band, and he puts in his personal experiences and religious beliefs into the songs which he writes. Mullins states that his influences in the music field are bands like Architects and Asking Alexandria.
 
The singer-songwriter was involved in some controversy during one of the band’s shows on a tour in 2013. He commented on how girls were dressed not modestly. Later, he apologised for saying that.
 
The albums which he has been in with the band are Sleepwalking which was released in 2009, The Hollow released in the year 2011, Challenger released in 2012, Unconditional released in 2014, and the last album, This Light I hold. His two solo albums are Matty Mullins which was recorded by Rise Records and released in 2014, and Unstoppable recorded by BEC Recordings and released in the year 2017. It is the most recent piece of his work this year.
