Mitchell Marsh is known as all-rounder Bison of The Australian Cricket team. He was born in Attadale Perth. He is the second son of Geoff Marsh. His father is an Australian Cricketer & Coach. He was the younger brother of Shaun Marsh who is also an international cricketer. He was raised in Perth where he completed his studies at Wesley College. He made his first Debut for the state Australian one-day tournament in the Ford Ranger Cup game at the age of 17. Then, he gets a chance to play with the Under 19 Australian Crick Team against India. He was also named as a captain of the under-19 world cup, which led to victory.

In 2009, He made his T-20 Debut opposite South Australia in the 20-20 Big bash Series. He is a right-handed batsman and an all-rounder bowler who bowls medium-fast (averaging 130 km/h. His pace of deliveries has risen steadily to fast-medium at 140 Km/h  in 2015. Marsh has also played for the Pune Warriors India and Deccan Chargers in the  (IPL).

 He broke his bowling hand after punching a wall, during a Shefield Shield match against Tasmania. In February   2020, for  Vitality T20  he had joined Middlesex for t Blast competition. Marsh was owned by Sunrisers Hyderabad for the 2020 Indian Premier League at a base price of Rs2crore.In 2021, He was replaced by Jason Roy in the  IPL Sunrisers Hyderabad squad due to his severe fatigue and pain.
