Initially, Neha had aspired to become a singer and gave 2 attempts through Indian Idol auditions. After realizing her talents in these auditions, she was given the chance by Rajan Sahi to perform in her debut serial. The stunning Indian actress, Neha Sharma got a chance to perform in the television show – Indian Idol 4 in the year 2009. During the auditions for this show, Neha was identified for her beautiful smile by Sonali Bendre. However, this show was cast on the Sony TV. Later, she has also taken part in the popular television show named as Chand Chupa Badal Mein in the year 2010 aired on Star Plus channel. This show was directed by Neeraj Baliyan and Rajan Shahi. In this regular soap opera, she performed the lead role of Nivedita which was supposed to be the hesitant girl. Consequently, she played the role in the Bollywood television series based on drama namely Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai which was again cast on Star Plus channel in the previous year 2009.
Additionally, she has also worked in many serials such as Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Punar Vivah and Doli Armaano Ki, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?, Ramayan, Savdhan India Mahamovie, Haar Jeet, and much more. The bubbly girl, Neha played the role of Seeta in the Ramayan serial through which she gained an immense reputation. Additionally, she was also appearing n the comedy based magic show titled as Mahisagar.
