Nimisha Sajayan is a famous Indian actress who belongs to Thane, Mumbai, Maharashtra. The lady works in the Malayalam film industry. The actress is a very simple, beautiful with a charming personality. She is the daughter of Sajayan Nair, & Bindhu Sajayan. In the 8th standard, she got a black belt in Taekwondo Martial Arts. The young girl represented Maharashtra state in the Taekwondo National Championship. She used to display her dance skills at various school programs. She groomed her acting skills from film school in Kochi. She did her schooling from Carmel Convent School and completed her graduation at KJ Somaiya College in Mumbai.
In 2017, she started her career with her acting debut in the Malayalam film Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum. The film is directed by Dileesh Pothan, which was a big hit. She played the character of Sreeja, a young woman who works in a supermarket. For her debut, she received 7 nominations and won 4 awards.
In 2018, her releases include Eeda, MangalyamThanthunanena, and OruKuprasidhaPayyan. For her Eadand film Eeda, she also received 3 nominations and won 2 awards. For her performance in 2018's film OruKuprasidhaPayyan & 2019's film Chola, she was awarded the Kerala State Film Awards for Best Actress in 2019. Next, she was seen in several films including The Great Indian Kitchen, Nayattu, Malik, Heaven, Thuramukham, and Adrishya Jalakangal. In 2024, she appeared in Prime Video's Malayalam web series "Poacher".
She made her Tamil film debut in director S. U. Arun Kumar's film titled Chithha in 2023 opposite Siddharth. Next, she was seen in Tamil films JigarthandaDoubleX, and Mission Chapter-1. In 2025, she was seen in the Tamil action-thriller film "DNA" as Divya opposite Atharvaa.
She also made her debut in Hindi cinema with a comedy-drama film "Lantrani" in 2024. She also appeared in Netflix's Hindi web series " Dabba Cartel" in 2025.
