She completed her higher education from the University of Florida. She served as an assistant attorney in Hillsborough County. She also served Fox News, channel as a host.
 
She came into an office as an attorney general to Florida in 2010. She intended to overturn the law, patient protection, and affordable care act. According to her, the affordable care act prohibits health insurance companies to demand a premium. For her personal gain, she extended the execution date in 2013 because it stood between her fundraising event. But when people alleged her for the same, she apologized. She again came to the office in 2014 securing 55 % votes.
 
Same-sex marriage was opposed by her. She also did not favor the LGBT community. She hosted the show, The Five on Fox News. She also appeared on the show titled, Sean Hannity. She received a lot of criticism when she receives a contribution from U.S President, Donald Trump.
